Panda Inn Restaurant in Ontario, CA has an amazing atmosphere, wide variety of food choices, and excellent service. Above all, the foods were delicious. I could not wait to tell you guys. Let’s dig right into it.
On our way back home from Santa Ana, we decided to stop by Panda Inn for a quick lunch. It was 12:15 in the afternoon on a warm Sunday, and we were hungry but very excited to try the food. We hadn’t gotten any foods in our stomach since we woke up.

Parking
This was the second time we stopped by this restaurant. Parking was never a problem. Their lot located right in front and I think it could hold up to 30 cars.
Service
The staffs were very warm and welcoming. We didn’t have to wait long for the foods to be brought up to the table after orders were put in. In addition, if you have to use the restroom, you don’t have to worry because the restroom was nice and clean. Also, the restaurant’s setup was family oriented. They also have separate rooms for different events.
Waiting time
For our first visit, we stopped by for dinner. Even though the wait time was about 45 mins, we were offered with an option to sit around the bar area without delay, so we took that opportunity. On the second visit, we only waited around 10 mins.

Food
On the first visit, I ordered the Classic Panda Inn special. It was a significant portion packed with mouth drooling ingredients… There were fresh lobster meat, BBQ pork slices, tender chicken breast, bok choy, button mushrooms, and winter bamboo. All Wok tossed in their Signature Shao Xing Wine Sauce. We were so impressed with how delicious the foods were so we told ourselves we had to come back.
The second visit did not disappoint either. We decided to do the Sunday Brunch buffet special because we wanted to try a different variety of foods instead of limiting myself to one item. Are you guys ready?
The first plate was the one on the left: I packed as much foods on the plate as I could: chicken wings, veggie egg rolls, dumplings, shumai, minced chickens lettuce wrap, fries, buns, kimchi, and some seaweeds.
The chicken wings were off the hook. The sweetness was just right. They added a tiny crystal block of salt. My favorite part about the chicken wings was that it was stirred fried with dried pepper. The sweetness, the spice, and the salt complimented each other so well that I had to come back and get more wings on the second plate.
The buffet was well organized. In the middle of the room were 2 aisles full of main entries: orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and Panda beef…
Around the room were appetizers, salad station and desert bar.
My favorite dessert was the macaroons. In addition, if you have never had macaroons before, they are crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. They are filled with different flavors ranging from chocolate to rose, to lavender. I wasn’t sure whether they got their macaroon delivered or made it from scratch. Most importantly, they were undoubtedly good.
Price
The price was affordable. You could either choose from a small portion for an individual meal to a full portion that can feed a small family.
The food portion was just right. On Sunday Brunch special, It was $27 per person. I was pleased with the money that I spent.
