For me, being successful means I get to do what I love without any restriction of time and money. If I want to spend ten hours writing a blog, or travel to Italy tomorrow, or free up a whole weekend for family, I want to be able to do it without anyone telling me no. Work and commute are unavoidable.
I enjoy working out and writing the blog, so I always try to make it an everyday routine.
I value are the time when I get to spend with family the most. Why spending time with family is important you may ask. Aha-Now speaks my mind.
Your time is as valuable as anyone else. It is essential to figure out because many people go through the days like a ghost and wondering why they have no times for anything or anyone. The sooner you start thinking about the time you spend, the happier you will become.
Are you working too many hours but still not getting anywhere?
And by “Getting Anywhere,” I meant your overall goal, the big picture. If your short term goal is to make enough money and pay off your car loan, then working long hours is justified.
However, if you spend 60 hours a week at your office while your health is deteriorating, your family is complaining, and you are not happy, it is time to re-evaluate your goal. What is more important: making time do what you want or saving all the money without the time to spend it.
