WELCOME BACK to my blog. Today blog is going to be a quick tutorial. As a reader, or viewer, I would hate to be interrupted by ads while watching a TV shows or reading an article. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that ads is one of many income streamlines for bloggers and other forms of businesses. However, there is a way to use ads more APPROPRIATELY that doesn’t piss people off: DO NOT POST ADS IN YOUR ARTICLE. If you are using NewsPaper9 Theme by TagDIV, I will show you how to delete article ads.
WHAT IS NEWSPAPER9 THEME?
The more time I spend using Newspaper9 theme, the more I like it. There are reasons why NewsPaper9 is one of the most used theme here on the internet: super user friendly, very functional, stylish, and backup by a great support team. If you are a new blogger, it is totally alright to start with a free theme first to get the hang of it before purchasing a theme. The purchase price is $59 which I think is worth your money. It comes with the initial 6 months support and $17.63 for each subsequent 12 months support. I only requested support once because I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the commenting capability for my blog post. They were responsive and fast. BlueHost has been doing an excellent job helping me with the technical aspect as well.

HOW TO DELETE ARTICLE ADS

In your WordPress Theme ADMIN, Select Newspaper—Theme Panel—ADS. You will see Article Top Ad, Article Inline Ad, and Article Bottom Ad. We are going to turn off Article Inline Add.

As shown above, #1 is where you put your Google Adsense Code. The idea is: if you don’t have any codes here, it should means that there is no ads in your article. However, I think there is a glitch: even though I don’t paste any Google Adsense codes here, there are still ads shown up on my article.
You can delete the codes in this section. #2 is where you control where the ads will be shown in different devices. Make sure you slide the button to the right as shown in the picture in order to disable the ads.
That’s it folks. Hope you found this little blog helpful. Please let me know if you have any technical questions about how to fix your blog using NewsPaper9 theme, or more questions about Ads, feel free to reach out.

I think ads are fine as long as they don’t disrupt the readers from reading the content easily.
Yeah, I agree
I hate it too when you open a site and you get interrupted by ad after ad 🙂
lol, thanks for visiting
Ads are OK unless they interrupt but this will surely help at some point
I just don’t like ads while reading or watching something. And I think many will found this interesting as well.
I had no idea you could delete ads on this theme. It’s good to know if I switched or ditched.
I had no idea that this could be done. this is so neat. thanks for sharing.
True, ads can be annoying. Great tutorial for those who use this theme.
I’m not really using WordPress currently but I will consider it when I do soon in the future.
Great article. This is a topic I know I need to learn more about and you really helped me understand some good ways. Thank you.
I used to have the max ads on my blog pages, but then I realized that my blog was running super slow. I’ve since only been doing 1 or 2 ads and it is much faster. And I don’t like pop-ups so I don’t put them on my blog.
I don’t have that theme on my site, but it seems like a helpful article for those that do.
